The Review Process (double-blind peer-review)
Manuscripts should be submitted digitally to the journal’s email address: isttrarom.translationes@gmail.com.
They will undergo an initial screening carried out by the members of the editorial team. If the manuscripts meet the standards regarding relevance to the journal’s scope and text quality, they will receive a code and will be sent, without the author’s name, to two assessors.
The assessment of the articles is made by two assessors selected from either the scientific and the editorial board of the journal or from the external collaborators pool.
IThe author is informed about the acceptance status of the article, the acceptance status of the article with minor changes or the rejection status of the article. The authors receive the articles together with the assessment reports filled in by the two assessors.
The assessors are generally allotted one month to assess an article.
The author shall operate the changes according to the two assessors’ comments and suggestions in order to send the article again.
Yearly calendar
– 30 April: The deadline for sending the proposal including the title of the article, the abstract (80-100 words) and the author’s bio note (max. 150 words) to: isttrarom.translationes@gmail.com.
– 30 June: The deadline for digitally sending the articles to : isttrarom.translationes@gmail.com.
– by 10 September: Assessment of the anonymised articles by two referees selected either from the scientific and editorial committees or from the external collaborators pool.
– 10 September: Notification to the authors regarding the approval / rejection status and sending the articles to the authors together with the evaluation reports.
– 30 September: The deadline for sending the final articles, in accordance with the assessors’ suggestions and the journal technical editing protocol.
